It has been brought to my notice that one of the laws of mine which always joke around with seems to be something to muse about..So here for the first time in writing and in an attempted maximum clarity is Shanker's Law of Dimensions and Shanker's Time Dimension Theorum
1.Without any scientific or complicated experiments, the first law can be observed to be seen throughout the world.
According to the(my),
Law of Dimensions:- When moving through any dimension a dimension of lower order is also traversed.
For Clarity: When moving in 2-d we know that 2 one-d motions are followed.Hence the x and y axises.Similarly it is observed for 3-d,where three 2-ds and three 1-ds are followed.Anyhow the number of lower dimensions traversed is irrelevant.
So if you will accept the above law from everyday observations,we can derive the Time Dimension Theorum.
2.I do not try to prove whether time is a dimension or not.But assuming that it is, then it can be stated that time cannot be the fourth dimension as is disputed. Follow this..... As mentioned above when any dimension of order n is moved along ,then n-1,n-2 etc are also moved along. Any motion in space or in 1-d cannot take place without a corresponding displacement of time since otherwise concepts of acceleration, velocity etc. will become obsolete. But we can also see that,(not considering any other complex dimensions),we will always move through time(aging, rusting etc..) without a necessary movement in any of the other dimensions. So for simplicity of following a generalized observed tendency it would be sensible and convenient to assume Time as the ZERO-th dimension for future references,or to shift all dimensions above time.
